The White Eagle Band was formed in 2005 in Victoria, BC, Canada, and consists of seven instrumentalists playing cello, violin, viola, accordion, acoustic and bass guitars accompanying ten singers.
The White Eagle Band promotes Polish culture and tradition through music. Their repertoire consists of traditional Polish folk songs, ballads and dance music.They have also composed their own songs. The group dresses in beautiful Polish costumes representing the various regions of Poland where the music originates from, which adds to the group’s authenticity and attractiveness. Performing at multicultural events, their lively, rhythmic and engaging music is loved by audiences of all ages and cultures. Passion and hard work lead to developing their own, unique style and sound that is recognized and liked by their fans.
The White Eagle Band performs at various venues in its hometown of Victoria, BC, and other cities in Canada and the United States. We took part in the BC Day Festivals, Capital Festival of Christmas in Victoria, Salt Spring Island Folk Dance Festivals, Fusion Festival, Polish Day and Harvest Festivals in Vancouver, Polish Festival in Calgary and in Seattle, WA, Polish Festival in Portland, and October Fest in Phoenix, AZ.
In 2011 the Band released their first album “Halne Nutki”.
